I had a PHB who lied so often it was rare to get the truth out of him.

He has several types of lie, ranging from the little ("I need that finished by Thursday" when the customer doesn't need it till next month and he is low on work for the department.)

up to whoppers ("It was so windy in my village, the electricity pylons are now bent over" with no news reports of blackouts in that area)

and even lies of omission. (Not telling you he wants you on a customer site next weekend until the day before as he wants you working on a problem this weekend.)

I wouldn't be surprised if his real name wasn't the one on his door.

@khpage

Your yesterday's comment is suspiciously close to this strip...

...so you were S.A. all along, not fooling anyone now.

:p

Try using the truth in a way that people believe that you are lying. Watch them fall for their own lack of trust.

When you can do that, then you have mastered the art of deceit. As even the truth can be used for deceit.

So is he currently telling the truth or is he lying about lying being a super-power? I'll never know :(
