I've been getting the daily comic via RSS off and on ever since it was first offered via RSS (still miss the old B&W days). Obviously, that changed for me this morning--not yesterday since I hadn't checked my reader since Sunday).

I find that the site isn't as annoying now as it was when it first went up with color and flash--so improved all around. And I actually like the Zoom thingy to get the larger comic--much easier to read.

All in all I don't mind so much losing the feed image and having to visit the site every day or so. Still, having a usable feed (with the small image every day) would be a nice thing (hint, hint -- black & white even :) ).

I used to pay good money each year to get Dilbert each day in my email box. One day, Scott gave me my money back and started sending me the comic for free. I was so angry that I refused to click on any ads. I started giving his money to the guy at Day By Day to encourage that artist to draw more naked women: it worked.

If I keep not paying Scott for his comic will he start drawing naked women? This could be dangerous as he can't draw.

As for all you RSS people announcing that you are dropping his feed: hilarious. He dropped all of you first.

Very disappointing. I am a Software Engineer and a big fan. I read this during my commute using an offline RSS reader on Android since I don't get internet access during my travel. Now with this change that is all over. I won't and did not visit this site daily but have occasionally to share a strip with my friends so I was viewing it sometimes. Now I will probably never visit the site and therefore never share it again. I am sorry your business model did not work well enough for you or you just got too greedy. Unsubscribed.

I don't get the strip through RSS so I'm not real sure what you guys are talking about. Was this change announced? Could the problem be an aberration? Just something wrong today? And if not, is it Adams' doing? Pardon my ignorance, but RSS is not something I'm familiar with.

The registration process was surprisingly unpleasant, but I really wanted to take the time to say this:
Mr. Adams, I'm a huge fan of your work. Thanks to the rss, I discovered the strip, bought your books and spread the good word about your talent.
It's a shame that your rss is being sent to the technological toilet the way it is, and I will miss my daily dose of Dilbert. I've lost a few comic strips like yours before and I don't make a habit to check if the blunder gets fixed. But if I ever hear of this technological blackmail ending, I'll definitely be happy to bring your strip back to my feed, as a daily reminder to keep an eye open for your other work.
Until then, good luck.
