Premier Slackers aren't just born; it takes supreme deication and hard lack of work to become a dedicated Top Slacker. Anybody can just lie around on the couch all day, watching TV and stuffing their face. It takes real dedication to go ro work every day and convince other people that you are a hard worker when you not only produce absolutely nothing, but can actually reduce other people's productivity levels WITHOUT being promoted to management.

The cliche is that if you ask a award nominee if they think they should win, the PC reply is that it was an honor just to be nominated. They may repeat that line after someone else wins the award, but usually through clinched teeth.

Assuming the announcement was legit, apparently they rounded up a pool Hollywood hacks, slackers all, and this jury of his peers actually thought he had what it takes to go all the way. Videos of his power walk he came up with yesterday, submitted by an admirer, no doubt, may have put him in the running (pun intended.)

But he's no fool; being one of the top slackers in the country, if not the world, is not an honorable thing; it's just something he was born to be.

If you use your imagination you can see a resemblance between Wally and the Oscar award.
Okay, not really, but maybe when Wally was younger...

Wally: "Darn! Spam" (Wally knows there is no chance he's actually got nominated for such a thing)
