I've spoken with "Ashley" and "Bridget". I always want to ask why they don't pick a name that might actually match an accent, like Anna or Maria.

My favorite 'hire anyone off the street' story was when I got a call (pre no-call list) from a guy with heavy middle-eastern accent pushing a credit card. He called me 'Mr. Richard' (my first name). It dawned on me after I hung up that he did not know the order in which we use our names in America.
I'm assuming he had no college.
