You'll notice that as you get older, it will become more and more difficult to communicate with the younger generations because they weren't around when your referenced material happened.

Like Orplyd, I didn't get it until I read the comments. Scott Adams is a demigod now in my books when it comes to subtle humor. This was awesome.

Wool sweaters create and emit significant static electrical charges, Supposedly, the Hindenburg's Hydrogen gas was ignited and exploded because of a static electrical spark, and if I recall correctly the spark was caused when the ropes attached to the blimp used to secure the blimp were touched by those on the ground attempting to secure the blimp.

Sometimes I'm moved to feel sorry for Ted, seeing has how stuff like this often happens to him (in some ways, he's like "Kenny" from South Park), but then I remember how he's more often than not a huge jerk, and he has it coming...
