It's true about the options, though. You only offer two or three, but then every six months you discontinue it so the customer has to buy something else. IBM makes a fortune doing that.

Dilbert should have Alice discuss this with the PHB. She'll come up with an answer, all right. Wally always knows what to do = nothing. BTW, I wonder what internet stations Dilbert et.al, listen to when they're messing around, er, working with their computers. Here at the library I tune into Bar Rockin' blues - between the music and an adequate stoke of caffeine, you can type like a maniac....

Makes you wonder how Baskin Robbins made such a success of their business with their 31 Logo. Or Heinz with their 57 Logo, come to that. (And don't tell me that they didn't have 57 products when they came up with the logo. I know that - but they hoped to give the impression that they did.)
